Message from Times Square

I was privileged enough to attend the morning service at Times Square Church in New York City this Sunday past. It was a lifelong dream to go to this church! The ministry of David Wilkerson and his friends has for a long time been very close to my heart. Check out their church site here: Times Square Church Website.

I got there early, so I was blessed with a really good seat, and met some great Australians in the service, a pastor and his wife, from Brisbane. The worship was truly amazing, free, heartfelt and truly pumping! Then it was up to Dr. Lamar Vest who delivered an incredible message, a voice sounding in these pertinent times – a cry for repentance and commitment to the Lord. You can hear his message in the link below.

I returned to the Young Adults service at 6PM, and we had more worship and a great group discussion on the book of Esther. I found the questions and answer very insightful and the reception was very warm! Truly a blessing!

If you’re ever in New York City – do yourself a favour and check out this church! Go 45 minutes early to get a seat, check out the service times and location on their website. Easy way: Take the PATH to 33rd, and walk along Broadway until you get to West 51st (about a 10-15 minute walk), turn left and it’s on the right after the Macdonalds.
